About CodeBee
CodeBee is a free, open-source multi-agent workbench. It turns the AI CLIs already installed on your machine — Codex CLI, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code and more — into one coordinated team that follows a five-step loop (describe the goal → plan the work → execute and verify → review and fix → deliver), covering software development, long-form writing and knowledge work.
Principles
- Local first: tasks run on your computer; logs, changes and deliverables stay in your local workspace.
- Open orchestration: no single-vendor lock-in — CodeBee discovers and coordinates the CLIs and models you already have.
- Verifiable delivery: results go through test validation and cross-model review; the process is replayable and traceable.
Open source and license
The project is open source under the MIT license. Source code is hosted on GitHub (Vercel-By-WXP/CodeBee), and the command-line package is published on npm (codebee). Issues and pull requests are welcome.
